Manual Therapy
Manual Therapy is an Orthopedic Manipulation Therapy and is a specialized part of Physiotherapy used in a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic problems. Contains special mobilization techniques by the therapist (chirotherapy) aiming at:
- Immediate reduction of pain
- Improve mobility in a joint that lags behind in range of motion
- Stabilization of unstable moving parts
- Improving patient functionality
The physiotherapist, after examining the painful area, with special tests that he/she will apply; he/she will use special mobilization techniques with his/her hands, as well as a personalized exercise program, in order to maintain the results until the next session.
